Manx Heritage Transport Festival 2013
Saturday July 27th
This year the Saturday of the event focused on the IMR. This included the regular feature of the events in the form of workshop tours in Douglas, but also some new features, Caeldonia was running driver tasters between the station and the Peel line siding. There was also a guided walk of the Peel line from St Johns to Peel, finishing outside the Manx Heritage Transport Museum where 8 Fenella was sat on the section of rail alongside the water tower, forming possibly the most unique feature of the event.
Sunday 28th July
The focus returned to the MER for Sunday, seeing a 15 minute frequency in service for much of the day, with all of the suspects appearing in service 1+51, 2+59, 16+60 and 32 working on motorman taster runs between Ramsey to Lewaigue.
